To promote land and territory restitution processes with an environmental perspective, targeting national and international civil society organizations and higher education institutions.
- General objective
Accelerate land and territory restitution processes in areas such as the Amazon and other areas that share special environmental protection characteristics, and train the actors involved in managing these types of cases to improve and consistently incorporate environmental considerations into the administrative and judicial stages of land and territory restitution processes in Colombia.
- Specific objectives
- Contribute to greater agility in the restitution of territorial rights for peoples and ethnic communities in the Colombian Amazon, incorporating into this litigation the respect and guarantee of the right to a healthy environment within the framework of biocultural rights.
- Contribute to the revitalization of the peasant restitution route with an environmental focus, allowing for the implementation of restitution measures in areas of special ecological importance.
- Aportar en una mayor cualificación de actores institucionales, en la incorporación de la perspectiva de derechos ambientales en la restitución de tierras y territorios.
